About Lehman's Flowers

" Lehman's Flowers has been in business since 1961. Started by Eleanore & Harper Lehman.Present owner, Dulcie Parker concentrates on fresh flowers, although, we do have plants, balloons, plush animals, cards, some silks & can do fruit &/ or gourmet baskets. Her 1st job was with the Lehmans & has worked in area shops on/off til buying the store in 1999. We're in the heart of El Segundo 125 Seirra Street, in between El Segunda Blvd and Franklin Street."

People from Aerospace, Northrop, Boeing, Direct TV, Mattel, the LA Kings & the LA Lakers really like our designs, so we can and do get very busy but ALL of our customers are important to us!"

We service El Segundo & neighboring areas, Manhattan Beach,LAAFB & LAX & the surrounding areas, Hermosa Beach,Hawthorne, Playa Del Rey,Inglewood, Lawndale, Lennox, Redondo Beach, Torrance, Marina Del Rey, Gardena, Venice, Palos Verdes, Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills Estates & may go to San Pedro, Long Beach, Wilmington, Santa Monica, & even downtown LA.

Our shop is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Sometimes open on Sunday around the busy times/ holidays

"Orders should be in by 12:00 noon for same day delivery or if for an out of area/ wire service delivery, leave time for us to contact the other florist by 12:00 noon their time. Saturdays not included as a lot of florists close at noon on that day. We also have an additional relay charge (for wire- outs only) of $7.00 & that other florists delivery charge may be more than what we charge, give us good contact number(s) so we can ok the extra $$. ALSO BARRING holidays/ busy times (e.g. VALENTINES, mother's day etc.)the best scenario would be to order 3 to 7 days before the delivery date.

stating " no 2nd choice" is usually impossible for same day delivery. We are not accepting " no 2nd choice" for any valentines orders. we are used to being thought of for the " last minute" gift, but, be aware that I may not being accepting orders on February 14th for same day delivery as I usually am working to capacity by that time. it's always ok to call & see. We are doing a valentines special, that if you have your delivery go out on Monday 02/11/08 & it's in El Segundo we won't charge the $7.00 delivery charge.”
 

"We're known for” European wraps" using what's in season/ best priced also, our Equadorian roses. We like to know what attracts you to whatever you choose... is it the color(s)? Or is it the style? Is it a certain flower that is someone's favorite? This helps when we're doing it for "same" or “next" day deliveries. Put this info in "special instructions" or you can just put “I chose it for the price, just do anything pretty to value. For business, please give me the business name &, if you know it, the time the recipient gets in to work. Also, if they have a cell # if you include that , it really helps( especially for secure businesses that don't let us leave anything if the recipient leaves their desk/ phone area & don't answer when the guard calls like LAAFB & Aerospace Corporation) & for security residences. Be aware that we will not take “timed” deliveries for Valentines Day. On that day, business orders will be by 5:00pm. if you need an earlier delivery opt for an 02/12/08 delivery & put time in " special instruction" (for el Segundo deliveries only.) we will accept timed deliveries for 02/13/08, but there will be an additional charge depending on how early. (Again el Segundo deliveries only)I usually don't have all this on the web page, but, if you call us, this is what we'd tell you. A local delivery fee of $7.00 will be added to each order, for each address. (For deliveries outside our local delivery area, this fee may vary.)
U.S. orders must be received before 12 noon in the recipient's time zone to help assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day.
We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at a specific time of day, but we cannot guarantee it.
We are unable to make deliveries on Sundays. Orders requesting delivery on this day will be delivered the following business day.
Deliveries of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed. We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call our shop directly. We are unable to accept international orders over the internet.
